Awards Season

This is the time of year that the vacation ownership/timeshare industry gears up for awards. VO-CON, the new name of the CRDA conference up in Vancouver was first out of the box. Grand Pacific Resort Management was a finalist for its Cornerstone Award that went to an indigenous Canadian Company, Whistler.

The ARDA Awards (www.arda.org) early bird filing is mid-December as is the final filing for GNEX 14. With such a strong group of clients, you can be sure I’ll be writing my “tush” off for the next month while still working on other PR and marketing initiatives.

During this time it is clear that some companies are better at pulling their “stuff” together in a timely manner than others. Hopefully they will practice one of my GBG’s main tenets: team work. If someone is waiting for information, files, pictures and/or input and they can’t move forward without our participation, we make it a priority to get them what they need. Not leaving a client, employee, friend or family member hanging without the sought after communication is simply good manners. I have built my business putting others first and it’s worked.

All my clients rank high among their peers and competition. That’s why I will work hard to get them nominated and named winners. As long as we have the tools, we can make it happen.
